Devotional Musin

The other night, I made myself a cup of tea, grabbed a blanket, and sat down with my Bible and journal. No fanfare. No curated playlist. Just a quiet moment to pause.

It wasn’t a dramatic spiritual breakthrough.
It was just… calm.

And lately, I’ve started to really value that.

There’s something deeply underrated about making space for God in the stillness—no agenda, no performance, no need to share it on Instagram. Just me and the Word. Just me and God.

I used to think devotionals were meant to be these big mountaintop moments. But I’m learning that the daily rhythm of showing up—even when it’s just me, even when my thoughts are scattered—is enough.

That making space is sacred.
That small habits still hold weight.
That the quiet is not empty—it’s full of invitation.

Some days, I read a full chapter.
Other days, I reread the same verse five times and only underline one word.
And some nights, I just sit in the quiet with my tea and let God do the talking.

There will be seasons where I share this routine with others. But for now, this devotional rhythm is mine. And I think that’s beautiful.
